Biography

Mark is a Research Prof. at Mechanical Eng., Clarkson U, Potsdam
NY, Lifetime Member of Building Enclosure Technology and
Environment (BETEC) Committee of the National Institute of Building
Science (NIBS) in Washington, DC. He worked at National Research
Council of Canada (1975-2000) leading many programs, e.g.
US/Canada/Europe CFC replacement in thermal insulating foams
(Polyurethanes and polystyrenes). Mark was Editor-in-Chief of J.
Building Physics (1984-2018) but now works as Guest Editor in
different Journals. He was teaching in Mexico, US, Canada, Germany,
Poland and China. He received the highest awards in building physics
in the US and Canada. He wrote more than 250 peer reviewed papers
and 7 books, has 100 k reads on the Research Gate in Berlin.
