Biography
Dr. Valentin A. Nastasenko is a prominent Ukrainian scientist, inventor, and Professor in the Department of Operation of Marine Power Plants at the Kherson State Maritime Academy (KSMA), as well as an Academician of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine. His scientific interests focus on mechanical engineering, marine systems, and green ship technologies, specifically marine alternative, solar, and wind energy engineering. He has contributed significantly to the theoretical and practical framework of high-efficiency renewable of ships energy systems. Professor Nastasenko’s research is widely presented at international conferences and published in top-tier peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. His publications provide essential methodological guidance for renewable energy engineers and designers of advanced autonomous power supply complexes in ships.
