Biography
Jerry Luo is currently a Reader at Cranfield University in the United Kingdom, where he leads a research team consisting of three postdoctoral researchers and six PhD students. His main research areas include renewable energy, hydrogen energy, energy materials, and thermal management. He has published more than 80 journal papers and holds four GB patents. He also serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, and the steering board member of the EPSRC funded UK Energy Harvesting Network. He is the principal investigator for multiple UK research council funded and industry funded research projects, with total funding exceeding £6 million, and in 2024 he was awarded the UK Academic Excellence Gold Award in Hydrogen Energy Research.
